Good behavior when rewarded will be repeated. Bad behavior when ignored will be repeated. Ignoring the behavior is the reward.

If your kid throws a ball in the living room and breaks a lamp and nothing happens, the chances are very good that your kid will continue to throw the ball in the living room.

If a company delivers bad service, yet people continue to spend their money with that company, then there is no consequences for the company and the bad service will continue.
