Weekend Quote - Healthcare Reform

With the historic health care reform vote scheduled to happen today in the US, I thought it is a good time to re-use one of my old quotes regarding the Canadian healthcare system.

Like all things in life, Canada's universal health care system has certain disadvantages. However, Canada's universal health care system provides two substantial advantages that countries with US-like healthcare system can't claim to have:

1. Canada's universal health care system provides health coverage to all its legal residents regardless of their job status, income level, age, prior medical conditions and other factors.

2. No Canadian fears about going bankrupt due to expenses caused by illness/medical problems.
