Searching for best deals on Smart Money and Kiplinger Personal Finance magazines
My subscription to Smart Money and Kiplinger Personal Finance magazines had expired, so was searching the internet to see if there were any discounts or coupons available on their subscription. Since these two magazines are very popular, it's always not possible to get free subscription for them but I thought it was worth a shot.

My main intersest was to see if I could get any discounts or coupons for these magazines. After much search, the best deal I found on the Smart Money magazine was at Amazon.com where 1-year subscription to SmartMoney (1-year) is available for $5. I searched several sites, including SmartMoney's own Web site, but couldn't find a better deal than this. At SmartMoney's Web site, 1-year subscription is running for $11! Surprisingly, even at Amazon.com the 2-year subscription to SmartMoney (2-year) is available at $18 (SmartMoney's Web site is also offering 2-year subscription for $18, and 3-year at $24).

Am not sure why the 2-year subscription costs more than double the amount for 1-year subscription at Amazon.com. I can just get 1-year subscription for $5 and renew it again next year for another year, costing me only $10 instead of $18 with the 2-year deal (assuming the $5 deal is still available next year). In addition, my upfront cost is only $5, instead of $18.

For the Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine, the cheapest deal I found was pretty much same - one-year subscription is available for $12 at Amazon.com, and many other sites. To keep it simple by shopping at one site, I will be getting it from Amazon.com.

However, at MAGAZINES.com, the 1-yr subscription is available for $14.97 but after applying the $5 off any title coupon, it works out to be only $9.97, so that's who I am going with.
